Attributes on Zoho

datumo supports the following Zoho modules:

  • Contacts
  • Leads

Zoho does not allow an automatic tool to create automatically new attributes, but it is necessary that a user with Administrative privileges create it manually following this guide. datumo is able to synchronize the default attributes and also some custom ones.

If you want to synchronize the custom fields, you should create them manually.

The possibility to create custom fields is limited to paying account.

Contacts​

The default attributes of the Contacts module that datumo can work with are:

Custom fields​

Nowadays, datumo is able to work with the following custom fields for the Contacts module:

  • Gender
  • Contact type
  • Company

To create a custom field, you should:

  • Log in the Zoho CRM account with Administrative privileges.
  • Select the Setup (the gear in the right-hand side).
  • Select Modules and Fields in the Customization box.
  • Select the Contacts module.
  • Select the standard layout.
  • From the New fields on the left, you can select and drop a new field into a module in the right.

The custom fields supported by datumo are:

If you want to synchronize these attributes into your Zoho CRM, you need to create the above custom fields with the name, type and options described.

Visualize Results on Zoho​

After accepting results, you can log into your Zoho account and visualize boosted attributes (fields according to Zoho terminology). To do so, you need to customize your Columns' View by following these simple steps from the Module home page:

  1. Select the module the list view belongs to. (e.g. Leads, Contacts).
  2. Select a list view from the dropdown in the top-left corner.
  3. Click the Setup icon on the right-hand side of the view.
  4. Click Manage Columns.
  5. Check the fields you want to add as columns on the Manage Columns screen. You can also change the order the columns appear in by selecting a field and moving it up or down in the list.

You can also modify columns from the Edit View page of the custom view. Select a field from the Available menu to move it to the Selected menu and then save your changes.
